The art of working with stained glass to make different objects is sometimes known as Tiffany Glass. Tiffany Glass technique is named after Louis Comfort Tiffany, who perfected the copper foil technique to put cut colored glass together. It is done by wrapping edges of cut pieces of colored glass with copper foil and then solders the edges with tin to form a finished piece. Our Tiffany Glass Iron is specially designed to solder the copper foils together. The iron plated long life tip of this soldering iron can withstand long periods of use. The shape of the long life tip is slanted round bevel, providing a larger surface area for soldering. High quality Nichrome heater element with excellent thermal stability ensuring long life time of the soldering iron. Comes with a safety stand.
